Deep inside me something's growing,
It's festering there, boiling.
Taking up all space within me,
Leaving me no room to breathe.
Relax, I can't; forget, I try,
The death of me might be nigh.
Can't figure out what it's about,
I'm all filled up, all bled out.
Sinking feelings come to play,
I can't seem to find my way.
It's building up, it tears me down,
Fading fast, can't hear a sound.
A burning feeling in my breast,
Heavy weight upon my chest.
It's coming now, it's coming out,
Not loud enough can I shout:
"Here she goes,
There she blows!"
It's exploding, I'm imploding,
It ignites and I'm alight.
Burning fireworks within me,
Burning bright; I cannot see.
My soul is melting so far down,
A big puddle on the ground.
But next to me, a puddle there,
Not a thing was left to err.
Finally, at the journey's end,
Our two souls thoroughly blend.
